| Q: | How do you make your music? | |
| A: |
Carefully. Methodically. Slowly. The equipment I use is quite minimal. The only instruments I use are a Korg Trinity Plus keyboard and my voice. All of my music was digitally recorded in my home studio on a PC. My home studio also consists of a microphone, a 12 channel Mackie mixing board, and a Fireworx effects processor. When all of the music is 'finished', I burn it to a CD-R and send it off to various labels for promotion or replication. When playing live, I like to use my strap on keyboards such as the Roland AX-1 or the Roland Axis-1. |
| Q: | Why do you make music? | |
| A: |
Three reasons. 1) For the uncompromising glory of God. My vision is to praise God and spread His word through original and innovative modern Christian music. 2) I love to make music. 3) God told me to. Check out the following verses. Psalm 150 : 3-6 - "Praise Him with synthesizer sound, praise Him with hard disk recorder, praise Him with drum machine and video animation, praise Him with sequencer and amplifier, praise Him with loud cymbals, praise Him with electronic cymbals. Let everything that has electrons praise the LORD. Praise the LORD." OK, so maybe this is a rough paraphrase, or what the verses would say if they were written today. To see what Psalm 150 : 3-6 really says, read it at the Bible Gateway. While you're there, check out these verses: John 3 : 16 1 Corinthians 13:12 Romans 6 : 23 Romans 5 : 8 John 5 : 24 John 14 : 6 Mathew 22 : 36-39 |
